Pregnancy and new parenthood are amazing and transformative, whether it’s your first baby or your fifth. Postpartum doulas provide support and nurturance for new parents, information on baby care, breast or bottle feeding, and assistance in ensuring a smooth transition for families and their new additions.

After your partner goes back to work, your family goes home and your friends stop dropping off casseroles, it’s helpful to have a support person to ease the transition into new motherhood. As a postpartum doula in Silicon Valley, I do everything from holding your baby while you take a shower, to helping you process your birth experience. I am there for you and whatever you need during the first days and weeks of your baby’s life.

• Newborn care and support with understanding baby cues

• Breastfeeding support

• Sibling care and recommendations in transitional phase (*to those that may apply)

• Light housekeeping and simple meal preparation for the first 2 weeks

• Creation of a nurturing and quiet environment for the family

• Coordination of a Meal-train set up and assistance from family and friends to create a structured flow of support

• Hands-on education for infant and mama care

• Multi-level emotional support

• Overnight stays optional upon request
