MEET THE DOULA
Bienvenidos! Welcome! My name is Reyna Toledo. I am passionate about guiding womyn through the birthing process. My journey as a birth worker began when I brought my two children, Enrique and Kiaketzalli, into this world. This interconnected experience introduced me to the sacred duality of life and death inherent in labor, as well as the immense vulnerability womyn sustain while birthing. Because of this, I make sure to bring a full heart into every aspect of my practice. I draw from my two decades of knowledge as an educator and community leader to advocate for, empathize with, and empower all my relations. I hope this can include you!
My most recent work has been with children age 0-3 years. This sparked a desire to make a difference in the lives of birthing mothers and their families. For the past five years I’ve provided empathy, empowerment, and support through my doula practice. Womyn taking care of womyn!

MY JOURNEY
Reclaiming maternal wisdom stems from natural healing practices used while giving birth within my ancestral roots in ancient mesoamerica, which I carry close to my “nanyotl”. This word translates in the nahuatl language, Nantli is mother and Yotl is heart. It means something akin to heart of motherhood, or maternal womb. My cultural expression from the Anahuac Culture of Mexico is interwoven in my practice as a doula in contemporary times.
As opportunities arise, I often travel to Mexico and Latin America to work side by side with birth workers and traditional healers from different backgrounds. They caretake ancestrally distinct, yet similar, styles, techniques, and philosophies. It’s with great pleasure that I bring you my wisdom and services full-circle.
I feel the urgency of womyn to reclaim birthing sacredness and power in birthing our young ones.
Being of service to womyn is truly a dream come true, I echo this quote fully! We all experience birth so uniquely. It’s an intimate and powerful season for the minds and bodies of womyn. First time mamas initiate the expression of motherhood, and celebrate the wholeness of knowing themselves newly. However, second, third, and on births are just as unique as every unborn child that comes into this world. Regardless of where you’re at in your birthing trajectory, my mission is to furnish complete care and embodied practice for every aspect of your experience.
